Bradford district road safety

Road safety is a key area for the Bradford Safer Communities Partnership.

Bradford district road safety is co-ordinated through a multi-agency steering group including Bradford Council, Bradford Vision, West Yorkshire Police, the NHS Primary Care Trusts and the West Yorkshire Casualty Reduction Partnership.

Working together with local people, the aim of the group is to make our roads safer. Emphasis is placed on reducing road injuries. 

The total annual investment in road safety is in the order of £4 million.  Our road safety plan ‘Safer Together’ not only explains what we do but also how important it is for local people to play their part in making roads safer.

Everyone is responsible for road safety.
